Your data is yours, and with our program, it stays that way. All of your information is stored on your computer, not on our servers.

This program relies on an open-source LLM framework, called Ollama (https://ollama.com) which you install separately from this program. This framework runs locally, and you can confirm that at their website.

Our program will save all of your information in a database on your computer. This database is never shared back to us, it is local to your machine. 

We understand that your personal details, work history, and even potential new positions that you are interested in applying to are not pieces of information that you would want sitting in someone else's hands. It is very important to us that you can control this information and can have confidence that we are not collecting it. This is why we developed this app to run locally on your machine with an LLM running locally on your machine as well.

In future versions of this program, we do intend to offer a solution where the personal data resides on your device, but there is an option to integrate to a cloud LLM. This option opens up the potential for use on devices that are not capable of running a local LLM (tablets, older computers, ...). Our core belief that your data must be secure and in your control will guide the development of this future option, and although this future version will send data to a cloud LLM, we do not intend to store any data from those transactions. The addition of this new feature will also not impact the ability to continue to run the program locally with a local LLM, running fully locally will continue to be supported.
